Grupoyuri GROUPO YURI'S sound is an exuberant call to the world's music lovers to rejoice in life, love and esprit du corps.  Their sound is a blend of World Beat, Latin, Jazz and Fusion rhythms, intertwined with beautifully haunting melodies.  The music is infectious...from the percussionists' pulsating beat to the electric violinist's sublime sonorities. 

Founded by violinist and songwriter Yuri Turchyn in 1996, the group has performed in many club venues, concerts and festivals.  GRUPO YURI has played before thousands of fans and has garnered an astounding reputation for their electrifying concert performances and their universal appeal.

Learn how meditation and Buddhist psychology leads to contentment and a more joyful, meaningful life. Individual contentment improves family relationships and interactions within the community that lead to greater social awareness and responsibility, and improves society as a whole. World peace will come about when each of us arrives at lasting inner peace.  This presentation is being offered as the kick-off event for the community awareness and fundraising campaign entitled World Peace Through Inner Peace, however no donations will be requested at this time.
