This authentic and passionate monthly Spanish dance experience is presented by TEATRO Sí, the premier Hispanic theater arts company of New Jersey. Your host, renowned singer and guitarist David Castellano, brings together the best dancers and musicians to celebrate this purely Iberian dance and music form.
David was born to an Andalusian family from Granada in Spain and he has gained a reputation as a talented and accomplished singer and guitarist. He studied guitar with Juan de la Mata and is self-taught as a singer. David has toured the world singing and playing with many artists including Roberto Castellon, Omayra Amaya, Flamenco legendary Queen of Spanish and Flamenco Dance Pilar Rioja, Carlota Santana's Flamenco Vivo, European Pop singer Ishtar from the group Alabina, the Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre Company and many more. He has appeared on radio and television performing Flamenco as well as Flamenco Rock with a fusion group he has called Manué, which was recently featured in TEATRO Sí’s Amor Flamenco production and also on the Univision and Telemundo television networks.
On the fourth Sunday of every month join David and his special guest artists at The Goat Cafe as they bring you an exhilarating flamenco “tablao” performance that will awaken emotions and longings for the essence of Spain.
